Yoneyama Mai’s work is already stunning online but seeing it in print is a different experience. You can appreciate more of the finer details and the vibrant colours they work with. Some pieces show the different stages and towards the end there are some rough sketches as well. The book is solely Yoneyama’s art and barely contains any sentences except for a short commentary from Yoneyama Mai at the end. I would say the book is worth the pickup if you are the type to collect books that showcase art and or your just a fan of Yoneyama Mai.
